I wanted to try something a little diffrent. I've never seen the port that Spock exits in tmp to contact v'ger. So i thought Id try to do a decent representation of that. Its not perfect detail. This is my first scratch biuld and the first time ive used sheet styrene. But I like the results.

Great Job! They look fantastic.

Please make sure your photos are no larger than 640 x 480, this will help our members with slower links and smaller monitors.
Thanks!

Great work and keep it coming!

That does look great! As much as I want to build this kit, I currently have no room to display it. I'll just build it vicariously (oooh, a BIG word!) through you guys who are building it. Keep those pictures coming!

Thank you. All I did was use some woodlans scenics grass. Its used with the model railroad scenes. I used elmers gell glue and was able to use a brush to put it where i wanted. but its been falling off a little so next time I might spend the six bucks for the glue that is ment to be used. The walk ways are Model Masters armord sand. and benches are testors brown. Later I found my wood color but I desided not to change the benches cuase they looked ok. The doors I did with intermediate blue and outlined them with a black pen. I should have my shuttle bay finished this week along with the shuttles. I just air brushed the worker bees today with Model Masters gelb rlm 04 #2027. not sure what the color is but its a nice dirty yellow. Not an easy job since they blew everywhere. I eventualy got some tweezers and held them in place.

They came with the kit. I dont remember what trees they came on though. but the tops of the inspection pods are clear. The larger shuttle in the back is from ertles enterprise st6 kit. There small and easy to miss.
