Hi, I'm Propnut_70, aka SLUFF, AKA Jerry.
Before plastic was invented I built with balsa and tissue, mostly U-control and free flight. I moved on to HO trains until I ran out of space so I switched to styrene in the early 90's, concentrating on aircraft, armor and gradually added in figures, cars, dioramas and a wooden ship model. I live at the Jersey Shore where we are blessed with 4 model clubs. My son lives in Seattle, and when we visited in 2008, he took me to visit Evergreen Aviation and the Spruce Goose! Great trip!! Amazing collection of aircraft!
Is there a glossary of terms for newbies, such as u2u, BBcode and other mysterious terms? :D

Welcome Jerry. Sorry we don't have a glossary but U2U is nothing more than Private Messaging or PM as it sometimes referred to . You can use it to care a private conversation between baord members....

BBCode is nothing more than using some of the tags for doing inserts like links and pictures for example to place a picture link I use [img] picture url address [/img]. The img commands and brackets tell the board when the address starts and stops and the address is just that the www.... address to where the picture is hosted.

Once again welcome aboard!
