Fan Expo Coming to Toronto Aug 27th
My son wants to go to Fan Expo this year because Stan "the Man" Lee will be there. He wants to meet and get an autograph from Stan. As things go that
will cost $40 for the autograph and $40 for a photo-op.
I guess $40 is better than the $75ish that William Shatner will be charging. I wanted to get Shatner's autograph but $75 is a bit steep + I've read
that he isn't very interactive for that 20 sec moment you have with him.
Just got back from Stratford. Took the wife to see the Tempest. Christopher Plummer was signing copies of his book after the play so my wife wanted to
meet him. $30 for his autobiography, and I didn't find him particularly charming. I wouldn't classify him as rude and arrogant, but I would call him
abrupt and dismissive.
KIRK has always been my hero, and I couldn't see anyone but Shatner in that role. Maybe I should watch him sign a couple to see what his mood
it.......if I have time that is. Stan the Man's line-up will be huge.

Fan Expo has decided for me. Stan is appearing on Fri/Sat and Shatner only on Sun. As my son has his heart set on meeting Stan, we'll go on Sat. Can't
justify the money for two days entry + paid autographs. Hopefully Stan can pretend to be nice.

I signed up for the Official William Shatner Fan Club for $26 usd. I get a signed 8x10 with membership. So I'm getting a compromised deal.
